1. Flaming is unacceptable- This should be self explanatory, just in case however…flaming includes insults, personal attacks, crude language directed specifically at another poster, etc etc etc.

2. Trolling is unacceptable- Trolling is posting with no real point except to find people to disagree with you and start a fight/flaming.

3. Once you state your opinion, if someone else posts and disagrees stating their own opinion don’t go back and elaborate your opinion trying to point out they’re wrong and you’re right. It’s not going to work, you’re not going to change anyone’s mind, you’re wasting your time. Just because someone disagrees with your opinion it doesn’t mean they’re attacking you, try not to take it personally.

4. Linking- Links to outside sources need to be described, at minimum as work safe or not work safe. People working in cubes clicking on an innocent looking link can be in quite a bit of trouble if their speakers suddenly start blaring curses in the middle of the office. Preferably, describe what the link is going to lead to so people can decide to follow it or not before hand.

5. Images/Screenshots- Images can be uploaded to your own characters gallery under the members section...please try to keep them semi appropriate.

6. Advertising- Posts that advertise a service, service based website, link to one of those odd games where you get points for the more people who use your particular link, etc. are not tolerated and deleted immediately.

7. Don’t bump old threads- If you have to go back through several pages of posts don’t reply to them. Replying to something posted 6 months ago is silly and will simply be deleted. Old threads remain to be viewed, not to be bumped to the top. Bumping also includes posting nothing constructive to a thread, simply to keep it from sliding off the front page.

8. Derogatory comments regarding race, religion, creed, sexual preference, gender or disability are not tolerated and will be deleted immediately.

9. There is an Edit button under every one of your posts. Please use it rather than posting several times back to back.

10. Spamming is the biggest thing I hate. "Last" threads, "Describe the one above" threads, "Alphabet" threads, what's the point?! They will be deleted. Actually converse with each other, use your brains! I know you have them.

11. If it's illegal in the states, then talking about it here is not accepted.

12. Arguing over board policy, or commenting on moderation, is an unwise course of action. If you feel moderation is being abused you may PM me (Jakini) and I will deal with it.


Lastly if you have a problem with a member or a way an event has been formed take the issue to PM's , No more dragging the whole guild through the mud. If said PM's do not resolve your issue than contact a Heru and we will try to get the issue resolved.
