Members of Avalorien are expected to adhere to the following standards of conduct:

1. Understand this is a game and we are here to have fun. Explore, develop your character, learn your game and the environment in which you play. Get to know your guild mates. Take the opportunity to forge friendships. Members are expected to be helpful to others. If YOU come first this is not the guild for you. Incessant begging, whining, cajoling, and other immature behaviors are frowned upon.

2. Loyalty to the guild and its members is expected. The mission of Avalorien is working together and helping every member succeed in all he or she sets to accomplish in this game. We expect members to participate as much as they possibly can to the best of their abilities for the betterment of the guild.

3. Positive representation of our guild to the community is expected. There is no reason for members to misrepresent the guild in offsite chats, forums, or other venues of communication. We are not here to engage other guilds in a quarrel. We will treat all visitors to our site and our company with patience, courtesy, and respect.

4. Acts of hatred, personal attacks or harassment of any member or non member is unacceptable. At no time will a member of Avalorien put down or berate another guild or its members. Diplomacy should always be a first reaction to a bad situation. Be an example to the community. Members who violate this simple rule will face disciplinary action up to and including termination from the guild.

5. Inappropriate language or topics of discussion are not permissible. Avalorien honors many of our members with family and children. Please refrain from use of profanity.

6. This is not a power gaming guild therefore rl responsibilities always come first. Should you need to be absent from the guild for any period of time, please notify the guild so we won't worry about you.
